Machine Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer and construction of factory-coated storage tanks, silos, aluminum domes, specialty covers, and reclaimer systems in the Dekalb, IL, area, is seeking an Machine Operator to join their team! This climate-controlled facility offers a wide range of perks, such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
Machine Operator Job Summary:
1. Pay: $17.45
2. Shifts Available: Monday-Thursday
1. 1st Shift: 5:45am to 4:15 pm
2. 2nd Shift: 3:45pm to 1:45am

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs.

Machine Operator Qualifications:
1. Previous production operator or machine operator experience is preferred
2. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
3. Must be able to lift up-to 40 lbs. repeatedly
4. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
